Une grande perte pour l'industrie canadienne du cinéma, DALSA vend sa dividion de caméras numériquesde ultra haute défintion (Origin) à ARRI. Un gain significatif cependant pour l'avancement de cette technologie avec ARRI qui la fera certainement progresser à travers ses propre produits haut de gamme. Mes sympathies aux employé(e)s de Waterllo ON, qui perdent leur emplois si chèrement gagné.

Pour les mordus inconditionnels de l'image super sensible et très tolérante du film, le tout avec un budget réaliste et compétifif, je vous propose des tournages en Super 16mm avec la magnifique ARRI 416 et ses lentilles Ultra 16. Off the press
A very large loss for the movie industry as DALSA is selling off it's ultra HD digital camera division (Origin) to the German maker ARRI. Hopefully this loss will turn into a gain for digital cinematography, as ARRI will surely integrate it in their high end camera products. All my regrets go to the Dalsa Waterloo ON. employees losing their work there.

For unconditionnal lovers of sentitive and very tolerant film images but with a tight budget, I propose you to shoot in Super 16mm, with the magnificient ARRI 416 and it's Ultra 16 lenses.
